Pasta Carbonara

  • Pasta of choice (Spaghetti is preferred)
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cubed
  • 3 – 4 cloves garlic, sliced thin
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup hard cheese
  • Black pepper
  • Parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup peas, optional 


  1. Cook pasta according to directions
  2. Cook bacon until crispy, add garlic
  3. Once pasta is cooked, drain well and while still steaming add to pan with bacon and garlic
  4. With pasta coated in bacon fat remove from pan and put in large bowl
  5. While still hot add eggs and cheese and quickly stir
  6. Sauce will come together on its own
  7. Season with pepper and finish with parsley\
  8. Check seasoning before adding salt, bacon is already salty
